Q: Dark rum or white rum? How do I know when to use each?

Dick says...
As a matter of taste, dark rum is considerably sweeter and more viscous in a mixed drink than white rum. Some like dark rum with their Coke (a.k.a. a dark and dirty), but you lightweights out there will prefer the milder white-rum cocktail.
