Q: How do I work the big hair look that’s popular this season without looking like Melanie Griffith in Working Girl?

Loose and sexy waves will never go out of style, but if your hair is bigger in dimension than that bag you’re toting, you may have gone a wee bit too far. So, to make heads turn (in a good way), start with a great blow-dry. Apply a small amount of volumizing product to your wet hair, then use a round brush and work section by section to achieve that coveted volume at the scalp. Once your hair is dry, use a curling iron to add movement. Finish with a few spritzes of hairspray.
