Many of us get nicknames early on in our lives. And this includes Princesses.
Yes, Kate Middleton has revealed during a visit to her old primary prep school how she and her younger sister Pippa had nicknames and they named their pet guinea pigs after them.
Kate was Squeak and Pippa was Pip, she revealed to students at St. Andrew's School in Berkshire, where this former athlete at the school was opening a new Astroturf field.
"There was one guinea pig called Pip and one called Squeak, because my sister was called Pippa and I was Squeak," she says.
In a speech at the school to teachers and students, Kate added: "I absolutely loved my time here; they were some of my happiest years, which makes it so incredibly special to be here today. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that when I had to leave, I told my mother that I was going to come back to be a teacher."
Now we know that didn't happen, and we're happy things turned out how they did.
As Kate makes a perfect Princess opposite her Prince William.
