Q: My partner and I have recently become vegan. How can we ensure that we’re getting everything we need from our animal-free diet?

Regardless of what diet you choose to follow, balance is key. Following a restricted diet limits your options, making it even more imperative to keep a watchful eye on your daily intake of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Record everything you eat in a journal so that you can easily identify the area(s) in which you are lacking nutrients.
