You would think that the more kids you have, the more stress that comes along with it, but a new study reveals that is not the case.
Mothers who have three children are the most stressed out -- even more than mothers with four!
Today.com surveyed 7,164 mothers across the U.S., and found that having two to three children is quite stressful as they are outnumbered, and surprisingly by four children, mothers tend to let go and are less stressed.
When the mothers were asked to rate their stress level on a scale of one to ten, the average number was an 8.5.
However, it's not all coming from the kids. According to the survey, 75 percent of mothers stress more about pressure they put on themselves.
Also very funny to find that 72 percent admitted they get stressed out about stress itself.
The more children you have, the longer your to do list becomes, which naturally would stress you out.
The women surveyed also worried about money, balancing work and home, plus the attention their husband needs.
Yes, the husband can sometimes be the biggest kid in the house: 46 percent of moms say their husbands/partners cause them more stress than the kids.
